Sharjah Police signs MoU with Sharjah Education Council

WAM Sharjah, Feb 08th, 2010 (WAM)--Sharjah Police Department signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sharjah Education Council, on activating security awareness at the governmental and private schools in the emirate of Sharjah.

The move aims to forge strong joint ties between Sharjah police and the Sharjah Education Council to further strengthen the security awareness of the students.

The MoU was signed today by Director General of Sharjah Police Major General Humaid Mohammed Al Hudaidi and Secretary General of the Sharjah Education Council, Aisha Saif Al Khajah.

Al Hudaidi expressed his appreciation to this good initiative that comes in the context of the local government keenness to activate joint cooperation and communications amongst the different departments and institutions in the emirate for the interest of Public.

He reiterated that the protection of youngsters and students from negative and delinquent behaviour is a joint responsibility of the whole society.

Sharjah police department is working on raising security awareness among students aiming to create crime-aware generation, stressing that the Sharjah police department has been managing to activate security awareness programmes at schools.
