|  | Sharjah Ruler visits Municipal Council, UOS campus in Khor FakkanFeb 8, 2010 - 08:04 - WAM Khor Fakkan, Feb 08th, 2010 (WAM) -- His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah paid a visit today to the to the Khor Fakkan Municipal Council and held meeting with the council members.
He gave directives to the officials to take all necessary measures to meet the needs of the citizens in the region.
Dr Sheikh Sultan also urged them to protect the natural resources and biodiversity in the eastern region and expand agriculture in the valleys and mountain areas.
Later the Ruler visited the Khor Fakkan campus of the University of Sharjah. He toured various sections of the campus accompanied by the faculty and staff.
