|  | First Deputy Uzbek PM receives UAE Energy MinisterMay 25, 2009 - 06:00 - WAM Tashkent, May 25th, 2009 (WAM)--Uzbek First Deputy Prime Minister Azimov Rustam, received here today UAE Energy Minister HE Mohammed bin Dhaen, who is visiting the country in a regional tour.
The UAE minister conveyed the regards of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces to Uzbek Prime Minister.
The two officials discussed the bilateral relations and ways of boosting them.
Al Hamili also met Uzbek Foreign Affairs Minister Vladimir Norov. Norov welcomed the UAE minister and the delegation accompanying him, commending the relations between the two friendly countries.
The UAE minister said the two countries were keen to further bolster cooperation in the economic, investment and trade areas. He also met some of the business leaders in Uzbekistan.
